This guide details the setup process for a LinkedIn connection automation workflow using Relevance AI. The process involves cloning prerequisite tools, configuring inputs, and connecting the workflow components.

Prerequisites

Step 1: Clone Required Tools

First, clone these essential tools to your project:

  1. Summarize LinkedIn Profile Tool
  2. LinkedIn: Get Recent Posts Tool

Step 2: Access Tool Creation

1. Click on the hamburger menu (☰) in the left sidebar and navigate to ‘Tools’

  1. You will see your pre-configured tools

Setting up our tool - Reach

Once you click on ‘New tool’, you will see an empty canvas. Now follow the below steps to set your tool.

Step 1: Configure Input Block

First, set up the input parameters that will be used throughout the workflow:

  1. Click "+" to add new input block
  2. Configure the following required inputs:

LinkedIn URL linkedin_url String Yes Target profile URL
Name of your prospect prospect_name String Yes Prospect's first name
Your intent for connection long_text String Yes Purpose for connecting
Your LinkedIn profile sender_linkedin_url String Yes Your profile URL
